定冠詞，是虛詞，本身不能單獨使用，也沒有詞義，用在名詞的前面，幫助指明名詞的含義。下面說一下定冠詞the的用法，供參考!

1.用以特指某(些)人或某(些)事物

2.用于世界上獨一無二的事物名詞前。

4.用于說話雙方都知道的名詞前

5.用以復述上文提過的人或事物(第一次提到用“a或an”，以后再次提到用“the”)

6.用在普通名詞前作為專有名詞

7.用在傳統節日前

8.用在姓氏前，表示一家人

The Wangs have moved house.王家已經搬走了。

9.用在單數名詞之前表示一類人或事物。
